Fish Don’t Climb Trees podcasts sheds light on the ‘gift’ of dyslexia, not the ‘dys’ in dyslexia. The ‘dys’ only means difficulty and we, dyslexics, one-third of the population, have difficulty because we do not learn in the way we are taught. It is time to bring about knowledge and understanding, and hopefully a change in our education system, which in turn, will bring about a cognitive equal opportunity for all. What a wonderful podcast! I had to share this with my principal. As I listened I pictured so many of our students and staff. I love being dyslexic! It gives me a unique way of approaching my students that struggle with life.
